A long established company, F.J.Payne & Son Ltd., has been servicing the needs of motorists for 85 years. Two years ago the third generation of the same family, Mr.Tim Payne, took over the company from his father Mr.John Payne. With an enlarged and experienced work force we are able to offer much faster turn round times without compromising the quality of our work. This enables us to provide a much improved service to both our trade and private customers . We have also extended our range of work to include far more classic and vintage engine reconditioning. We now have full time white metalling and crankcase line boring while in the cylinder boring shop we invariably have several old and often rare blocks for reboring or resleeving to restore the bores back to standard size. As specialists in the engine reconditioning business we aim to provide an efficient service, at a competitive price whilst maintaining excellent quality.
